My Love of Fall

I decided I’d share what I love about this season. I am not one of those girls who is overly excited about Fall, not that there’s anything wrong with it if you are but there are still many things I love about Fall. I am one of those “basic” girls though who does like the occasional pumpkin spice latte every now and again. But my love of Fall really came from when I lived in Albany, NY. One of my friends that lived there is obsessed with Fall and all things related and we used to do a lot of things together when the season arrived.

Apple picking, pumpkin picking then carving, leggings, sweaters, boots, pumpkin spice latte runs, hard cider tastings. It really was a lovely time. Down here a lot of it is the same minus the leggings, sweaters and boots. It’s supposed to be mostly low to mid 70’s next week in New York, it’s going to be in the 90’s here. So that part is different. One of the things I loved about Fall in New York meant the temperatures dropping. They might not drop to sweater weather right away but its right around the corner in the next few weeks.

I have to wait a little longer here which is fine but I do miss the cooler temps. But all of the fun Fall things can still happen no matter the temperature. I am already feeling it’s Fall though. All of a sudden last week like all of the leaves came down in my yard it seems. I glanced outside to see if the dogs wanted to come in and it looked like it was raining leaves. Also, when I went to get in my car one afternoon, it was covered in leaves.

That’s it for this post I think. I’m going to be making a Fall reading list and posting tomorrow. If anyone reading this wants to let me know what their favorite things about Fall are, feel free to comment!
