Since it’s still the beginning of the year, I thought it’d be good for me to make a wishlist of things that I would like to experience in life. I suppose kind of like a bucket list.
~Riding in a hot air balloon. I am scared of heights in some scenarios but okay in other scenarios so I hope in this case I will be good. I would like to do this with my boyfriend so hopefully if I end up not being too good with it he will be there to calm me down.
~Parasailing. Again, I hope I am okay with the height thing and I would also like to do this with my boyfriend. (I guess I’m kind of making this list for him too, hopefully he’ll be on board.)
~Learning to drive/ride a motorcycle. I have always loved motorcycles and I have never been on one. Well, I was on one once but it was my friend’s dads and I literally just sat on it to get a picture of me on it in my prom dress. So did a few of our other friends. But I would really love to learn to drive one and I would love to ride one.
~Riding a unicycle. I don’t entirely know why I want to do this. I guess I just think it’d be fun and I want to see if I can do it.
~Run a marathon. I HATE running. I really do not like to do it unless it is for a purpose. I used to play soccer so I would have to run to get the ball and that I am okay with but running just for fun is not something that I want to do. Ever. I do though want to run a marathon, just once. I just think it’d be fun to experience it once. I do realize I would probably have to practice a lot beforehand though so I might have to endure running for a little while.
~Take a cooking class. I have mentioned in a previous post or two that I am not the best cook. Everything I make is edible and I do cook sometimes but my boyfriend is certainly better at it than I am. Plus, who doesn’t love a super hot man cooking for you? Anyway, I would like to take a cooking class though so that I can learn to cook better and I think it’d be kind of fun. Although, my boyfriend is very good about teaching me when he cooks and I have learned quite a few things from him.
~Learn to speak German fluently. I have always wanted to learn to speak German. I have tried learning before and I would do pretty good for a while but then I would fall out of the habit of practicing for one reason or another and then forget everything. I would really like to learn though and stick with it and be able to speak it fluently.
I think that concludes my list for now. I am sure there will be things I will want to add to this list at other points though. What about you? Have you done any of these things? Do you have a bucket list? Please feel free to let me know.
